Belgium probably passed the peak of the third wave

For the second day in a row, the average number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Belgium has decreased. This is clear from the data from Sciensano Scientific Health Institute. The average number of new hospitalisations and deaths from Covid-19 is still rising slightly.

The average number of new infections between 26 march and 1 April, falling to 4.436) per day, a decrease of 6 percent compared to the same period a week earlier. Experts say that Belgium has gradually reached the peak of the third wave.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, 900,996 coronavirus cases have been reported.
