On March 3, the winners of the fourth annual contest “Build Your Business”, held under the patronage of the Saby Charitable Foundation, became known in Almaty. The main prize of the competition of young businessmen from Kazakhstan – 220 thousand dollars, allocated by patrons Kenes Rakishev and Vyacheslav Kim, was shared by 8 entrepreneurs from different fields of activity. A total of 434 businessmen whose age does not exceed 35 years participated in the competition.

The first prize of $50,000 went to the clothing brand “Daria” from Aktau, which has been operating on the market for 2 years. Gratuitous investments from Rakishev and Kim are aimed at expanding the production of clothing and accessories for expectant mothers. This was announced by the founder of the sewing production Aselle Zhekenova.
Monetary incentives in the amount of 30 thousand dollars from well-known Kazakhstani philanthropists Kenes Rakishev and Vyacheslav Kim were donated to the repair base for servicing tractors and special equipment from the city of Taldykorgan, located at 14 Rakisheva Street. The funds will be used to develop the functionality of the site, expand the staff and purchase equipment. The grant for the same amount was also received by the agricultural complex “Tansar” from Abai, which is improving the fodder base of the farm. Another recipient of 30 thousand dollars grant was a family business from the village of Chebotarevo – a dairy production plant “Darinka”.
The grant in the amount of 20 thousand dollars went to the Kazakh language learning centre “Qazaqstudy”. The workshop of wooden furniture and toys “Uncle Woodpecker” received the same amount. The third winner of a grant for 20 thousand dollars from Kenes Rakishev and Vyacheslav Kim was the service “Aquapoint – sources of water for health”, aimed at solving the problem of safe drinking water in public places. The list of business development grant holders is completed by the manufacturer of children’s sports board games “Balalaroom”, which offers an alternative to smartphones and game consoles for organizing leisure activities for children.

According to the chairman of the Saby Foundation Aselle Tasmagambetova, a total of 434 businessmen took part in the 2016/2017 Build Your Business contest, who sent the organizers a video with a dynamic description of their project and a description of the need for investment.
The key participants of the Saby Foundation are successful businessmen and philanthropists Kenes Rakishev and Vyacheslav Kim, who, apart from charitable initiatives, have allocated a million dollars to support young businessmen from Kazakhstan during the existence of the Build Your Business contest.
