Maximilian Park has been evacuated Before the Tour de France

Law enforcement against the Ixelles commune of this Brussels-Capital region have evacuated Maximilan Park before the Tour de France.

The cabinet of Philippe Close reported that approximately a hundred migrants were led to the Samusocial centre, which offers emergency assistance to homeless folks.

Mehdi Kassou, the spokesman of this refugee service platform, said that evacuations will continue in front of the start of the Tour de France.

However, the mayors’ cabinet added which the actions was planned for weeks, in collaboration with the avoidance ceremony Bravvo. They said:”We continue to seek a decent balance for both migrants and residents of this park”.

No arrests took place during the evacuation procedure.
